The first difficulty was the patient’s general condition, recurrence of bleeding, and failure of response to medical treatment for years in Yemen.
The second difficulty, that it was not her first surgery. She had performed 7 abdominal surgeries previously.
At the beginning of the surgery, we found extensive adhesions between the small and large intestines, the uterus, ovaries, and bladder, that it was impossible to differentiate between different organs.
The surgery was successful and uneventful recovery.
